Latest on police winter drink and drug driving campaign

Northamptonshire Police is naming drivers charged with drink or drug driving as part of a month-long campaign to tackle offending over the Christmas and New Year period.  

Here are the latest names. The first set of names is here.

Sunday, December 5:

  • Muhammad Chaudhry, aged 46, of Landseer Close, Wellingborough, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on January 24.
  • Farman Remtulla, aged 46, of North Holme Court, Northampton, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on January 24.
  • Tatenda Gara, aged 38, of Eton Close, Weedon in Northampton, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on January 24.

Monday, December 6:

  • Balamadhu Lingareddy, aged 30, of Gosforth, Wellingborough, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on January 24.
  • Laimonas Maciunas, aged 41, of no fixed abode, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He was remanded in custody and appeared before Northampton Magistrates on Tuesday (December 7).

Tuesday, December 7:

  • Sergio Bivol, aged 38, of Humber Close, Northampton, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He was remanded in custody and appeared before Northampton Magistrates yesterday (Wednesday, December 8).
  • A 32-year-old man from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs. He has been released under investigation pending the results of a blood test.

Wednesday, December 8:

  • Daniel Rogoveanu, aged 29, of Skegness Walk, Corby, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol. He will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on January
