Court results published as part of drink/drug drive campaign

Northamptonshire Police has released court results regarding those who were charged with drink or drug driving and named as part of a month-long campaign to tackle offending over the Christmas and New Year period.

The following people have appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court (unless otherwise stated) charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol:

Steven Claridge, aged 41, of St Rochus Drive, Wellingborough, was given a 16-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £532.

Veaceslav Culeac, aged 38, of Wagtail Walk, Corby, was given a 20-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £638.

Cathryn Ray, aged 69, of St Crispins Close, Burton Latimer, was given a 16-month driving disqualification and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £465.

Dean Marsden, aged 44, of Whitcrofts Lane in Ulverscroft, Leicestershire, was given an 18-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £239.

Ovidiu-Ionut Bourel, aged 43, of Wade Meadow Court, Northampton, was given a 28-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £180, complete a community order and unpaid work requirement.

John Daniels, aged 68, of Westfields Terrace, Higham Ferrers, was given a 20-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £359.

Helen Gamble, aged 53, of The Grove, Kettering, was given a 23-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to complete a community order and unpaid work requirement.

Robert Cannell, aged 25, of no fixed address, was given a 24-month driving disqualification (reduced on completion of an education course) and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £180, complete a community order, unpaid work requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement.

Laimonas Maciunas, aged 41, of no fixed address, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on December 14. He received an 18-month driving disqualification and ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £200.
