Choir celebrates success at Oundle Festival

Northampton Male Voice Choir-Lite's success at the recent Oundle Festival of Music and Drama.

At this year’s Oundle Festival of Music and Drama, Northampton Male Voice
Choir-Lite, was delighted to be awarded the Ray Sharp Memorial Cup for its performance in the Male Voice – Part Songs Class.

In presenting the trophy, the Festival’s adjudicator said the choir had given “an extremely musical and well prepared performance,” and one worthy of a distinction.

NMVC-Lite performed under its Musical Director, Stephen Bell, accompanied on piano by Sue Rayment.

As part of its current recruitment drive to attract more men singers, NMVC will be holding another open evening from 7pm on Tuesday, April 19, at Moulton College, The Barn, The Social Centre, Gate 1, West Street, in Moulton.
